Upcoming Fall French Cultural Events
Is your school interested in enhancing their French programming by bringing in an authentic cultural experience? The Centre is pleased to share the cost with the schools for the following upcoming events.

ü Édouard, a French performer, author, composer and educator! Édouard will be coming to the Peace Region from October 9th to October 12th. He performs for Grades M to 3, 4 to 6, 7 to 8 and also a multi-level show. Each show consists of approximately 12 songs. One 45 minute presentation costs $395 and two presentations costs $595.
ü Les Bûcherons, THE French Canadian Cultural Group! For the past 30 years, Les Bûcherons bring Canada’s past to life through song, story and dance, with a perfect fit into the Social, Music, Phys.Ed. and French curriculums. They will be visiting our area from November 26th to 30th. One educational presentation costs $995.
ü Justin Blais. The 21 year old Edmonton based singer is poised to shake up the pop landscape with his first single "Some Kind of Beautiful". Justin is not only a natural singer, but an accomplished drummer, dancer, and is also bi-lingual, growing up in the strong French Canadian community in his native Edmonton. Singing is his 1 passion and he works hard at it. December 10 through to the 14, Justin will entertain our Secondary French students with one hour bilingual shows followed by a Q & A for $500/show.
ü Cinémagine Jeunesse Annual French Film Festival is scheduled to come to Peace River on October 3rd. More information on what two films to be selected will follow shortly.
